THE AGNANO LAKE AND THE DOG'S CAVE

A. Dumas told of his experience in the following terms: “the owner pushed the dog…. only just inside,……..it jumped up in the air on his two hind legs in order to get it’s head above the poisonous level of air. It was all useless though:  it soon started to wobble……it lay down, it’s legs rigid, moving in an agitated crisis of agony……then it remained motionless……the mouth full of foam…..I believe it died……”
